For information on how to become a partnership or adoptive parent, call 1-877-210-KIDS or inquire on line by clicking here.  You will receive a packet of information as well as the dates of upcoming Information Sessions in your area.  Each County DFCS schedules and hosts Information Sessions for prospective families. 

Information Sessions are an opportunity for prospective Partnership and Adoptive Parents to learn  about the programs. Each county conducts and schedules their own Information Sessions.  The Information Sessions typically last 90 minutes and include an introduction to the program, an informational video presentation and a discussion of the approval process.  During the session applicants receive forms and questionnaires to formally continue the self assessment process and begin the approval process.
